![]() ![]() The reason they give you several options is because not everybody likes the same types of selection and not every subject lends itself to every Selection Tool. So, you can use any one of these tools to create your selection. And you can see, this image is pretty good but I think another background would just give it more interest and make it more interesting. And the first thing we need to do is create a selection around the subject. And in the upper left-hand corner, you're going to see the Replace Background option, so I'm going to go ahead and choose that. Now, you want to make sure you're in the Guided Edit category and then, I'm going to go to the Special Edits subcategory. So, I'm going to go ahead and select that image, go back to Grid View and then, click the Editor button to open this image in the Elements Editor. And when I hit Return, you should be presented with this image of Captain in the woods. Now, I'm starting here in the Elements Organizer and I'm just going to do a quick search up here for Captain. It's a lot of fun and pretty easy to use, too. This guided edit allows you to remove the background of one image and replace it with a new background from another image. Another new Guided Edit in the Elements Editor 2018 is the Replace Background Guided Edit.
